EM Chicago and TalentCorp Meet and Greet 2014

On April 15th 2014, Malaysian Student Association welcomed Education Malaysia Chicago and TalentCorp by organizing a Meet and Greet at the Asian American Cultural Center (AACC). The event kicked off after Maghrib prayers. Despite the cold night, approximately 28 members turned up.

After the sharing session, the event followed by good food as everyone socialized and mingled around. The night officially ended approximately at 10:30 PM.

Afterwards, Ms. Yazmin, one of the representatives from TalentCorp introduced herself and TalentCorp itself. TalentCorp is an organization that aims to build effective partnerships, and make a difference in addressing Malaysia’s talent needs to enable the country to reach its aspiration of a high-income nation. Ms Yazmin briefly explained (and with a touch of her sense of humor) about TalentCorp’s goals and how we can associate ourselves with them for our benefits.

The Meet and Greet started off with an introduction from Mrs. Marlina who is an officer from EM Chicago. EM Chicago is a department established by the Government of Malaysia to manage the welfare of Malaysian students who are studying at the United States and to cater the needs for US Midwest region.
